What can I do to improve my age spots and pigmentation issues?

Skin damage due to excessive sun exposure sometimes shows up as freckles, age spots and broken blood vessels/capillaries. The best defense against the damaging effects of the sun is a broad spectrum sunscreen which provides protection against both UVA and UVB radiation. Reversing sun damage is possible with a combination of products and procedures, such as the Photo Facial.    Photo Facial is a non-invasive treatment which uses  light-based technology to deliver  intense pulsed light (IPL) to the skin for rejuvenation. It is a gentle and highly effective method of targeting damaged skin, hyperpigmentation, red spots (haemangioma), small facial veins (telangiectasia), rosacea, redness & flushing. A photo facial also stimulates new collagen growth and tightens underlying skin resulting in smoother texture and a reduction in fine lines. A series of 3-6 treatments at 4 week intervals is recommended. Photofacials can be done on the face, neck, chest, arms, legs and hands.

The ideal candidate for Photo Facial therapy is someone with light to medium skin colour who has sunspots, broken blood vessels, flushing or Rosacea.  Read more about Photo Facials and Intense Pulse Light treatments
For darker coloured skin, consider Clear + Brilliant treatments.
