Directly after the treatment, it’s normal to experience some minor and temporary effects such as stinging, bruising, mild to moderate redness, and swelling. Although rare, allergic reaction can occur at the injection site. It is therefore important to have the procedure performed in a medical facility. Serious complications have been reported but are exceedingly rare. These risks will be discussed with you, by Dr. Copeland, during your visit and prior to treatment.
Is there any downtime?
Most people return to work or go about their normal daily activities immediately after treatment. We recommend avoiding strenuous activity for the remainder of the day. Concealer makeup can be used if you experience bruising.
